“Life is a remarkable adventure. Some folks are blessed to know exactly what they want to pursue in life and career from an early age. Knowing what will bring personal satisfaction, fulfillment, challenges and provide a livelihood. Others spend a lifetime exploring many different careers either by choice or happenstance. Which pathway is best? No easy answer other than, it depends. Social worker, roofer, actor and bank CEO may not appear to be logical career progressions, but gifts we receive from seemingly disparate experiences have an unexpected way of expanding our knowledge and skills. We may surprise ourselves with what we can accomplish.”
